A day in the life

Some thoughts that pop up in the middle of a busy day, which are otherwise lost in the labyrynth of the thousands of tasks already overloading the mind, are what i hope to capture.

Travelling

VIEW
Travelling. Going places. The experience is exactly what it is; a state of mind. A state of mind that can be reached at any geographical location. Some locations outclass the others because they exceed our expectations. This happen anywhere not only at locations outside your home country but also within. Once your expectations are updated and set all places look the same, they look ordinary enough. Be it Lalgabh or St. James' park. You will experience the same joy. So it is time things in our country begin to exceed our expectations. We are familiar with a certain environment. If there are changes for the better here, then there will be joy in visiting places in your own home country and no hunting for a place and dates in foreign countries.

COUNTER-VIEW
When you visit new places, you to get to see new cultures, new creations, new people and a new environment. These have to be experienced first-hand. The monuments do make up the experience, but the environment which is alien/foriegn is the real highlight of the trip. You will remember the kindness of a stranger more than how the Buckingham Palace looked, though both were part of the same experience, it is the people that make a place special and to meet these people you have to travel to a country other than your homeland. By travelling you always get richer, in every way. You have a wealth of experience and knowledge. These stimulate you, they drive you. They not only add an extra dimension to you but also that edge. A holiday break is always welcome too... it gives you something to look forward to and to look back upon. Like a great traveller said ... I have seen more than I can remember and remember more than I have seen.
