A day in the life

Some thoughts that pop up in the middle of a busy day, which are otherwise lost in the labyrynth of the thousands of tasks already overloading the mind, are what i hope to capture.

Silence must be heard

Maun ... or silence. The power of the mind over the chatter of the mouth. Sometimes it is good to keep our mouths shut and let our mind do the talking... listen to what we have within us... what we are trying to say to ourselves. Often in the chaos of everyday we ignore the fact that we do exist. We are all busy playing our roles... and often forget the real purpose of acting is to make a living... as in a life.

They say that all the worlds a stage... but there has got to be a greenroom... otherwise where are we goin to prepare for the grand spectacle.
Have you ever observed a bullring clown before he goes out to face the bulls... he is gravity personified... not a word, cause he knows that these maybe the only moments of peace he might ever get... once he gets out there it is only chaos. Charging 1,300 pound (600 kilograms) bulls and you have to make a fool out of yourself standing in their way. Those few moments of silence is all that he has to prepare himself for the show. Sorta reminds me of me...

These moments are usually the defining moments of a persons life. It is the lull before a storm. The more deafening the silence the greater havoc the storm will wreak.

Ofcourse silence is not all that a man must practice. Just like we will never realise the value of freedom until we are bound, it is in much the same way that we get to appreciate the power of oneself through silence.

Some moments demand silence... and others action. In the words of the great Martin Luther King.. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. And in the humble words of yours truly... shut up when you dont know what to say, it makes you look wise.

P.S: Thanks to...
